About Us
The World Council of Hindus UK is a charitable organization dedicated to preserving, promoting, and supporting Hindu culture, values, and community life in the United Kingdom. We serve as a unifying platform for Hindus of all backgrounds connecting temples, individuals, and local branches to nurture the spiritual and cultural identity of the Hindu diaspora.
Our mission is to safeguard and promote Sanatan Dharma by empowering the Hindu community through cultural, spiritual, and social initiatives. We strive to foster unity, provide assistance to new immigrants, support temple activities, and nurture the next generation of Hindu youth.
What We Do
The World Council of Hindus UK (WCH UK) is a charitable organization committed to preserving and promoting Hindu culture, values, and community life across the UK. Through our regional branches, we offer programs in temple support, cultural education, youth development, and community service. We operate in alignment with the global mission of the World Council of Hindus while respecting the local laws and cultural context of the UK.
Local Branch Development
We support and empower local branches across the UK with training, resources, and coordination to address region-specific needs and initiatives.
Volunteer Opportunities & Service Projects
We provide platforms for individuals to give back through seva (selfless service), including food drives, charity campaigns, and local branch initiatives.
Charitable Activities & Social Welfare
We conduct regular outreach programs including donation drives, disaster relief aid, and support for underprivileged families and communities.
Youth Engagement & Leadership
We empower young Hindus through educational workshops, mentoring, leadership programs, and opportunities to contribute to cultural and community activities.
Temple Support & Spiritual Guidance
We help connect individuals with local temples and provide resources for spiritual growth, including organizing pujas, satsangs, and spiritual discourses across UK branches.
